Nopef is managed by Nefco (Nordic Environment Finance Corporation)
in accordance with a funds administration agreement between the Nordic Council of Ministers and Nefco. A Steering Committee for the fund with members from each Nordic country is appointed by the Nordic Council of Ministers.
